Dariya Alara is a budding artist, teacher, and yogini. She might have been a kiwi bird in a past life, and her favourite poet is Linda Gregg. She loves the ocean, Kira Kovalenko's Unclenching the Fists, and tattoos. Originally from Kazakhstan, she currently lives in New York but grew up moving around and was not always sure where home was. She can get overwhelmed by both felicity and melancholy and is working towards softness, openness, and surrender to uncertainty.
